SKU MI-SCH14900
  • Fits short & long sector shafts with bolt or nut arm attachment
  • Forged and heat treated alloy steel "C" frame puller
  • Fine threaded pressure bolt reduces effort
  • Ball bearing tip pressure bolt protects sector shaft end

Removing the pitman arm on series 7 & 8 series HD trucks with Sheppard steering boxes requires a heavy duty puller with strength to endure the pressure required to pull the arm without damaging the steering box inner components.  Many traditional 2 jaw pullers are not strong enough to withstand the pressure required to pull the arm.  14900 "C" design puller is a one piece design made of forged and heat treated alloy steel for rigidity and strength.  A fine pitched pressure screw provides more threads per inch for added strength and ease of use.  Ball bearing tip pressure screw reduces sector shaft end damage and reduces friction while pulling.  Fits Sheppard Box #s: M80, M90, M100, M110, 292, 392, 492 & 592 found in Chevy / GMC, Freightliner, Kenworth, Mack, Navistar, Paccar, Peterbilt, Volvo and many other HD truck & construction configurations.
