ST-124: 2001-Later GMT800, 2500HD, 3500 with 6.6 liter Duramax diesel engine The crankshaft front seal is fitted to both the engine block and crankshaft. Fit of the inner and outer seal bodies is critical and any misalignment can result in leakage. ST-124 is designed to install the seal to correct depth and alignment. Place the seal onto the end of the crankshaft. Screw ST-124 into the end of the crankshaft. Turn the forcing screw so the body of the tool can push on seal until it bottoms in the block.

ST-125: 2001- Later GMT800, 2500HD, 3500 with 6.6 liter Duramax diesel engine. The rear seal is press fitted to both the engine block and crankshaft. Fit of inner/outer seal bodies is critical and any misalignment can result in leakage. ST-125 is a two-piece tool that mounts to the crankshaft and forces on both inner and outer seal bodies. Place the new seal on the inner body of ST-125. Attach the tool to the end of the crankshaft assembly. Turn the forcing screw on the tool to press the seal until it bottoms in the block.

ST-195: 2001-Later GMT800, 2500HD, 3500 with 6.6 liter Duramax diesel engine The rear seal is press fitted to both the engine block and crankshaft. Through testing, it has been determined the common practice of prying seals from the block is not acceptable due to potential damage to the block and crankshaft. ST-195 is a special puller with three jaws designed to grab the inner lip of the seal. The forcing screw attached to the center plate is used to react against the crankshaft end to pull the seal out.

ST-196: 2001- Later GMT800, 2500HD, 3500 with 6.6 liter Duramax diesel engine The rear seal is press fitted to both the engine block and crankshaft. Though testing, it has been determined the common practice of prying seals from the clock is nit acceptable due to potential damage to the block and crankshaft. J-44644 is a special set of jaws used with the plate and screw assembly from J-44641. The forcing screw attached to the plate is used to react against the crankshaft end to pull the seal out.
